I have a 'Banner', 'JAPAN', 2.5x I purchased a a 'show special' back in the eighties. It's been on a .222, a 30/06, and for the last ten years or so it has resided on a Marlin 30/30 where it has really come into it's own.

It is still quite clear and has no trouble holding '0'.
Maybe I'll take it out tomorrow to check zero and celebrate the 4th......![Smile]( "Smile")
I guess my point is, the old Banners' could a pretty good deal,,,
